The second press release of the project is online
Within the European Level-Up Project, the development of a platform capable of managing and optimizing the entire life cycle of an industrial machine continues unabated.
As a first step, the first digital twin was implemented in the laboratory of project partner FRAUNHOFER IWU to identify the dynamic behavior of the machine tool in a turning and milling center. The next steps will consist in the qualification of the digital twin for the prediction of the residual useful life of the critical components.
Subsequently, after validation, the digital twins will be implemented at the large industrial lathe SKIQ16 of TOSHULIN, another project partner, in order to achieve the set objectives, increase the quality and performance of the machine by reducing downtime.
