Design Week has finally begun, one of the most anticipated events of the year in Milan, and Holonix is taking part by participating in the installation of the Deremco project.

The installation, designed by Origoni Steiner in collaboration with the project consortium, is hosted on the ground floor of BASE (Via Ambrogio Bergognone da Fossano, 34 Milan) and, with its circular shape, was created to offer an immersive journey into the use of composite materials according to DeremCo.

14 industrial use cases will follow one another to show the processes developed to give a second life to materials from decommissioned wind turbines, components for the assembly of electrical or electronic devices, interior and exterior covering elements, components used in the automotive sector become seats, accessories, lamps, skis, protections for agricultural machinery, shelving for campers, packaging, pedals for cars.
Holonix, Syxis and the rEUse platform
In a space dedicated to the technologies used to realize the circular process, there is rEUse, the tool designed to make the information of the actors in the chain easily accessible, to understand the availability of materials and new processes; a matchmaking platform created to facilitate the inter-sector community, made up of manufacturing companies, research centers, service providers.
